I watched Disney's Secretariat for the first time last week. It was much better than I thought it was going to be; it wasn't all cheesy like most horse movies turn out to be. Secretariat was an amazing horse; one of the best racehorses of all time. Too bad I wasn't around way back when to actually see him race in person! I do hope there will be at least one Triple Crown winner in my lifetime though.
It's incredibly windy and rainy today; it made driving and walking around somewhat difficult. Hopefully it will be somewhat nicer tomorrow, and then maybe I'll be able to work with my horse! I sat on his back for the first time in months last night. Of course it was in his stall while he was eating hay, so it wasn't too exciting. But it made me really want to start riding again. There was a snow storm earlier this week, and now rain last night and today. Hopefully this weather will improve! I can't wait for summer!
