Almost Done!

14 more days left of classes! Not really looking forward to the final exams that come after that, but then it will be summer!! I'm excited to really start working with Jasper again. I haven't been able to do anything consistently with him for quite a while. Hopefully he remembers everything (he's still very green.)

I signed up for fall classes yesterday. It looks like it will be a pretty hard semester. I'm going to be taking elementary Japanese, statistics, organic chemistry, and the second part of biology (I took the first part this semester.) It will be fun, but it looks like it will be pretty tough. I also have labs for both biology and organic chemistry. I really dislike the labs; I probably dislike them because they tend to be 2-3 hours long. Oh well...

Oh, and, I didn't get to ride Pony this weekend like I was planning to. Saturday morning it was still pretty muddy, so I was going to let it dry out and ride in the afternoon. But, then, a thunderstorm popped up and it poured... again. The freshly fertilized fields are growing quite nicely from all of the rain we have been getting though. Hopefully we will get a lot of hay from them! Oh, and the Kentucky Derby is next weekend; I have no idea who I will be rooting for. Guess I better look and see who is running.... lol.

AC4H Auction

Hey all! April is here, (and already about half way over) yay! The horses have been great, like always. I haven't been able to do much with Pony because, when I'm not at class or studying for an exam, it's raining. This, of course, makes it very muddy. It also makes my boots get stuck when I'm trying to walk across the field. It's probably very entertaining to watch, lol.

I thought I would let anyone, who might be interested, know that Another Chance 4 Horse (a horse rescue) is having an online auction of donated items. There are a bunch of different things like books, movies, paralli dvds, jewelery, a 3 day trip to some island, $1,000 off a mother and daughter vacation at a ranch, and a bunch of different things. It's all done on facebook, and is the second auction they have done. Their first one was pretty successful, if I remember correctly. In fact my mom donated a new halter and lead rope to their last auction; we did try and bid on some stuff but didn't get it in the end. So, look around or spread the word. The money goes to a good cause.

Oh, and the auction ends on the 20th of April at 10:00 pm.
